Dr. Ankur Bahl is the Senior Director of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram. With over 20 years of clinical experience, trained at MAMC and AIIMS New Delhi and certified by ESMO, he is one of India's leading authorities on targeted therapy, cancer immunotherapy, and hematological malignancies.

Immunotherapy works by empowering the body's own immune system to identify, target, and destroy malignant cancer cells. Unlike traditional chemotherapy, checkpoint inhibitors and monoclonal antibodies precisely release natural immune brakes, offering long-term disease remission in lung, kidney, bladder, melanoma, and triple-negative breast cancers.
