Dr. I. P. S. Oberoi is an internationally renowned Orthopedic, Joint Replacement, and Arthroscopic Surgeon with more than 30 years of clinical and surgical distinction. He serves as Chairperson of Orthopaedics and Director of Joint Replacement & Arthroscopy at Artemis Hospital, Gurugram (Delhi NCR).
He completed his MBBS and Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopedics from Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana, followed by his Master of Surgery (M.Ch in Orthopedics). Dr. Oberoi subsequently completed extensive international clinical fellowships in adult joint replacement, arthroscopy, and reconstructive trauma surgery across premier orthopedic centers in Germany, Switzerland, the United States, and the Netherlands.
Having successfully performed more than 15,000 orthopedic procedures, Dr. Oberoi is recognized as one of the few surgeons globally with dual mastery in both complex joint replacement (robotic total knee, primary, and revision hip arthroplasty) and advanced multi-ligament keyhole arthroscopic surgeries (knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle). He has trained visiting surgeons from Asia, Africa, and Europe in minimally invasive navigation and arthroscopic techniques.
His clinical practice focuses on robotic-assisted knee replacement, minimally invasive total hip replacement, unicompartmental knee replacement, complex revision joint surgeries, arthroscopic multi-ligament knee reconstructions (ACL, PCL, posterolateral corner), shoulder rotator cuff repairs, labral reconstructions, and articular cartilage restoration.
