Dr. Shomeshwar Singh is an internationally acclaimed ENT Surgeon and Otologist with more than 25 years of surgical excellence in advanced otology, audiological rehabilitation, and implantable hearing solutions. He currently serves as Senior Consultant in ENT and Cochlear Implant Surgery at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram.
He completed his MBBS and Master of Surgery (MS) in ENT from the premier Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. Dr. Singh then spent over a decade in the United Kingdom undergoing advanced higher surgical training in otolaryngology. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) from Glasgow and the Intercollegiate Specialty Board (FRCS-ORL-HNS) in the UK.
A leading pioneer in cochlear implants in South Asia, Dr. Singh completed a dedicated fellowship in Otology and Cochlear Implantation at the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, UK. He has performed hundreds of successful cochlear implantations and Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (BAHA) surgeries in infants, children, and adults with complex inner ear abnormalities.
His clinical practice focuses on pediatric and adult cochlear implantation, endoscopic sinus surgery, tympanomastoidectomy for chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) and cholesteatoma, stapes surgery for otosclerosis, ossiculoplasty, and comprehensive management of balance disorders and tinnitus.
